How to set up the screen

| Attach the top part of screen to the one side of adhesive surface of the
wooden frame. |

| Turn the screen over and attach other three sides of wooden frame and press
with fingers to make sure it would be firmly fixed. |

| Turn the wooden frame inside out, and put it on and cover the wooden board. |

| Put the frame and board together with clips.

| As a picture, clip 6 places and put some tensions to the screen. |

| Peel off the detachment paper of the cardboard.

| Face the red adhesive surface down and put it on the screen, press down
hard on the adhesive part.

| Take wooden frame out from the wooden board, and cut the screen along the edge of the paper board. |

| Attach the screen on the tape and fix it firmly by
rubbing on with spatula. |

Take off
the remaining screen on the surrounding slowly by pulling on the side.
(Be
careful to not pull up, the double-stick tape might be come off.) |

How to make a “Plate”

Print a manuscript as negative inversion on
the pink colored master sheet by using dry toner color copier or color laser
printer.
Put
color mode as M100%×Y100% as only red color will be shown.
Paper mode “Cardboard” or thickest choice in the box should be
chosen. It would not be successful if
contact of toner is not strong enough. If
your printer does not have “Cardboard” or any thick paper mode, put the paper
in between of carrier sheet and let it through the heat laminating machine to make
toner contact stronger. |

| Spread news paper underneath of screen,
lightly rub off the printing surface with tissue paper which contains enough
amount of Piqua Remover to dissolve all other elements but not toner. |

| After you take off pink colored of manuscript
part completely, cut off surrounding part which does not have any toners on. |

Put back side of screen (the side with
adhesive tapes are attached) and back side of master sheet together, and tape
one side.

Put it in to the heat laminating machine. Set
the temperature warmer than 150℃
or 300Ｆ.
（Less than 150℃ or 300Ｆ cannot transcript
satisfactory）
※If the paper stack before it get in through, you can try to turn it
down and try it again.
※In order to avoid adhesive part would touch the roller, you can put the
detachment paper which was taken out at process #6 on it.

| When it comes out, take the paper cover off
from the master sheet |

| Take out the inner paper for cardboard |

| Put the clear tape surrounding of the no-toner
area to stop the ink to penetrate |

| Face up the pink colored surface, and put
together wooden frame which is same size as cardboard. |

| Tape 4 sides to fix on the wooden frame |

Then you finish making a plate for screen
printing.
※You can skip #19〜21, to use cardboard as a plate
